No news yet on what has been found to date but the search for Natalee will end on Tuesday and the investigators will gather together their evidence.

Hi Rainbow- thanks for posting. I saw the trailer for the movie too..
Looks like it will be done well and I look forward to watching the movie.

Maybe you can make a seperate post on the movie so everyone can be aware it will be on and watch it. It will stand out that way.

I am hoping this recent search will result in some new clues or evidence so there will be an arrest that will stick.

The items that they found include: a pair of women's underwear, a backpack and 3 car seat covers.

Appears our boy Joran confesses to killing Natalee on tv again for the 2nd time. Not much USA news yet but it is coming in. Don't know if he can be charged over this but I would certainly like to see this dirtbag be put away. More news to come.

(WOFL FOX 35) - Joran van der Sloot, main suspect in the 2005 disappearance of Natalee Holloway, has made a second confession, according to DutchNews.nl.

The confession reportedly came after van der Sloot gave an interview to a German TV station.

According to the report, Van der Sloot apparently said Holloway's body was hidden in marshes on the Caribbean island of Aruba.

If Joran had wanted to tell the truth, he would have named the exact spot, the spokesman said.

Key Figure in Holloway Case Wanted in Peruvian Slaying

AOL News (June 2) -- Officials in Peru are calling Joran van der Sloot, a longtime suspect in the disappearance of 18-year-old Natalee Holloway, the prime suspect in the brutal stabbing death of a 21-year-old woman in Lima.

Peruvian newspaper El Comercio reports that Stephany Tatiana Flores Ramirez was found dead inside a room at the hotel Tac in the Miraflores district this morning. The woman had been stabbed and wrapped in a blanket.

Family members of the victim say she was last seen with van der Sloot at a local casino. The hotel room in which her body was found was also reportedly registered in van der Sloot's name.

Peruvian police said Joran van der Sloot, a longtime suspect in the disappearance of Alabama teen Natalee Holloway in 2005, is now wanted in the stabbing death of a 21-year-old woman in Lima, Peru. The victim's family said Stephany Tatiana Flores Ramirez was last seen with van der Sloot, seen here with his father in 2007, leaving a local casino. She was found dead Wednesday in a hotel room.

The International Criminal Police Organization has issued an arrest warrant for van der Sloot; however, ABC News is reporting that he has already left the country and is believed to be en route to Argentina.

This latest news comes just three days after the anniversary of Holloway's unsolved disappearance.

Holloway, from Mountain Brook, Ala., disappeared May 30, 2005, while on a trip to Aruba to celebrate her high school graduation. Her body has never been found.

Holloway's classmates said they last saw her leaving an Oranjestad nightclub called Carlos 'n Charlie's with van der Sloot, then a 17-year-old Dutch honors student living in Aruba, and his two friends, Surinamese brothers Deepak and Satish Kalpoe. All three were arrested, but they were released without charge.

From the outset, van der Sloot allegedly has made multiple confessions in the case, each varying significantly. As a result, Aruban prosecutors have deemed them a mixture of "lies and fantasy" and have decided not to take action against him.

Holloway's family has not yet commented on today's developments.

I feel the same way. If only Aruba would have taken "Urine" down this poor woman would be alive.

I was shocked at first when someone called me about the crime but not shocked as to who it was. I expect Joran has been in one
way or another involved with more killings through his life.

nanci and goz, this is truly one of those moments when you feel sick to your stomach knowing that this young woman should be alive because a murderer of a young woman was running loose and no one in Aruba would do anything about it.

I trust Peru will not be so cavalier about an end to a young woman's life, under very similar circumstances. The only thing we don't have here is Urine's judge father around any longer to cover up this murder for him.

Thanks for letting us know about that, nanci. Looking forward to justice finally, one young woman's life too late.

OMG, that's just too creepy for words!! I've been listening to an interview with Greta and she pointed out that this was done right at the fifth anniversary of Natalie's murder. She also said that Beth is just beside herself, not only because of the timing but because she understands so well that this would not have happened if her own daughter's murder had been properly investigated and prosecuted.

From what Greta was saying, the slimeball appears to have gone into Chile now, but I suspect you're right, rd, that he's nowhere near as safe in the South American countries where he's trying to hide as he was in daddy's domain on Aruba. As far as I'm concerned, that whole family is card carrying evil.
