Jennifer's boyfriend described the calls on Nancy Grace so many years ago now when Jennifer disappeared. UCFAlum is knowledgeable about the people involved and says that the calls took place each morning when Jennifer was driving to work. Actually there were text messages also.

I cannot see what Rob described as "before, when she wakes up" as on the way to work, but I also know that only Rob and the police with the phone records, and anyone they told, know the answer.

Still, when she wakes up, with a before thrown in there, is real hard for me to buy as meaning when she's driving to work. But whatever. The years just keep passing on in silence.

Jennifer did not tell her family that she thought someone was following her. She said the construction workers gave her the creeps or something to that effect. She wasn't comfortable about them being around.

What I have found in the surveillance photos appears to be a law enforcement officer. That doesn't fit in with the assumptions made from the beginning, but that's what's there. Was someone dressed up as a law enforcement officer hiding in her parking lot waiting for her to come out to go to work? I doubt it.

Hi everyone! That's interesting that you think the perp knew Jennifer was planning to ship something that morning, Rainbow. How do you think he found this out?

A lot of information was misconstrued in interviews. I can tell you for certain that the texts/phone calls were on the way to work. I can also tell you for certain that she was going to ship the phone from work and was not in any rush to do so.

That's definitive enough for me, UCFAlum. The people involved, the bf Rob she talked to, the brother she talked to about sending the phone, yes, they would know, but like you say, the interviews don't reflect that.

Thanks for clarifying. Much appreciated.

The Orlando police are acting on a tip they were given. Local Orlando news is reporting that police are searching an open field along John Young Parkway and Millenia Blvd. They searched with cadaver dogs.

WFTV-9 reports:

Police said a private, volunteer search group tipped them off after the group's sonar and cadaver dogs hit on the area. The location is not far from the condos where Jennifer Kesse lived.

Crews did not find anything during their searches Monday, which included digging a large hole and bringing in their own dogs to assist with the search.

I also think that the fact that Jennifer is still missing demonstrates that the crime was pre-planned and wasn't random.

Good point, Rainbow.

RD,
I also find it too much of a coincidence that Jennifer's cell phone went directly to voice-mail, when her family members have stated that she could always be reached when they called. According to their statement, I would assume that her phone would have been on while it was charging. Hmmm. . . Another weird deviation from her routine.

Hi everybody!
Do we have any information that would lead us to believe that Jennifer and Rob may have not been getting along, as well as we have been made to believe?

Hi everyone. Earlier in this thread, I think, Rainbow mentioned that the fact Jennifer's body has not been found points to premeditation and to the perpetrator being someone connected to her. It did used to be true that murderers unconnected to the victim tended not to bother concealing the body, but with the advances in forensics, if the murderer is an ex-con with DNA in a database, he would have cause to want the body hidden until DNA evidence breaks down...

Sorry for not responding yet. I'm deep in the middle of a project and not coming up for air much.

Concerning the bf Rob, I think the physical evidence of calls to him at 10 pm and then his calls at 9 am next morning establish his whereabouts and herefore that he personally wasn't the abductor. He also voluntarily took and passed a lie detector test, a refreshing change from our silent ex's.

So is speculation that he hired a hit man warranted? After a weekend in the Carribean that Jennifer came back so happy about? (In other words, not an emotionally stressful trip.) No, in my opinion, there's no basis for it.

And of course, there is not the usual motive of silent ex's for murdering Jennifer, money. That is often not pointed out clearly with each missing woman, it is always about money. (In Condit's case, the large amounts of money involved in his political career, not to digress in Jennifer's thread.)

And yes, Rainbow, the phone going to voice mail is exactly what you're saying, the phone had already been turned off by 9 am, which would be immediately after the abduction in the scenario most people are assuming.

That is quite a significant fact in terms of a suspect profile, one I've talked about some, and is again one of those things that people just do not picture clearly in thinking what could have happened to Jennifer that morning.

Hi RD!
I agree with you regarding how the comment that Jennifer's boyfriend made in connection with his answer to Jane Velez-Mitchell's question to him about his and Jennifer's regular "morning call" routine could have been misconstrued, when according to UCF it clearly was that she called and/or texted Rob on her way to work. Rob was probably very upset about Jennifer's disappearance at the time and mispoke.

Jane, I feel that the perpetrator WAS someone who was intimately familiar with Jennifer's personal routine, acquainted with someone who was, or hired by someone who was. It is too coincidental that a person who was unfamiliar with her personal routine would strike in just the right time-frame that a crime could go unnoticed without arousing suspicion, as well as be in possession of the knowledge of how to stage a crime-scene that would be so deceptively believable, as to turn the focus away from him/her/them. RD, aren't men and women sometimes murdered for reasons of jealousy? Could someone have been jealous of Jen's and Rob's relationship?

What I'm citing is my experience with missing women, Rainbow. My experience does not bear out your claim with ex's or soon to be ex's.

I've already answered your question, and to be honest with you the other boards love this kind of stuff but we're protective of the family and loved ones of missing women here.

I don't know that it is necessarily someone that knew Jennifer any more than Hataway did, but I agree this is not what people want to assume it is, a construction worker lurking in the parking lot.
