That's definitely Chip Dent in the Capitol Club picture..

The woman is Allison Rothenberg (I think).

The Condit picture is from May 5, 2001. But the Enquirer and other sources tell us that the Levys called Condit at home in Modesto on Sunday May 6. This is indeed a puzzle.

No reason to think that Condit could not have hopped on a plane the afternoon or evening of the 5th and gotten to Modesto that evening in time to grab a night's sleep and figure out what to do at home with his wife on the 6th.

I do intend to call the magazine to 1. find out who the heck Chip Dent is and 2. Ask why they dropped the picture of Condit from their "Summer 2001" issue.

Also planning to check up on Rita Cosby's sudden reticence about the new lead. My friend, the ex Chief of Detectives in NYC saw the blurb on Fox and was puzzled by it. We need to explain it to the pros!

Its time for us to take the lead in this "cold case".

the 31st picture in the Capitol Club set looks very much like the lady who was Condit's scheduler. Its too late right now to search for the name but she left the congressman's office during the Summer of 2001. I have another picture of her somewhere.

Those are sure some attractive people. And a little scary too!

James, I believe date I posted for Gold Cup was May 6, 2001, a Sunday. Also I cover the phone calls the Levys made to Condit at his home on May 5 and 6 in great detail in Murder on a Horse Trail from their descriptions.

The info for the gold08.jpg I posted was that the picture was from May, 2000, the exact date I forget. That is several pages back already. :)

rd - it I remember correctly, Susan Levy called the Condit home on
5-5-01 and talked to Carolyn and Gary returned the call. Could he have returned the call from another location? or even 3-way so that it appeared on caller ID that he was calling from his house?

Fallout - I found a picture of Allison Rothenberg and it doesn't look like the same girl - she has too full of a face and nose is not turned up.

Also, didn't Anne Marie get a call from Condit on 5-5 saying he may be in some trouble and he had to lay low for awhile?

My bad. The Washington Post article was dated May 6, 2001 but was reporting from the previous day.

The 2000 picture is dated May, 2000 which is why my memory was fuzzy on a specific date. There is none:

I'm totally confused. When exactly was the picture taken? Why is there a discrepency between fallout and rd as to the date??????

because fallout had gold08.jpg and thought it was from 2001, but I believe the caption for the picture is in the free republic link I posted a few pages back with a 2000 date. There is no dating of that picture to 2001.

We all also know that Condit was reported to have flown out of DC on Friday May 4, the day after Carolyn did. Furthermore, iin my opinion if Condit was that carefree after Chandra disappeared that would make him innocent as far as I am concerned. He was not galavanting around horse country in Virginia after Chandra disappeared, he was galavanting around cave country in Virginia a week or so later.
