Hello everyone. This is my first post here. I have been interested in this case, and have posted about it at other sites before. I have many questions about it. So if anyone can point me in the right direction, much thanks.

I am curious about the relationship of the Enquirer to this case. Did it do much coverage at the beginning of the case? Was it done fairly? Did it leak any info or photos?

welcome albion. If question relates to Guandique, current thread is Guandique - Charges Dropped. Just add more comments to end.

National Enquirer was a major source of info on Chandra case. They touch things that the regular press won't touch, and much of it was legitimate info.

I skewer NE in Murder on a Horse Trail for coverage about day Chandra disappeared, but a lot of this stuff was sensationalized info and right up NE's alley.

In general I give them a lot of credit for Chandra's case.

Thanks rd. I am interested in many aspects of this case. One of them is the relationship between the PI's and the Enquirer. if you look at Pellicano as an example, he constantly played his clients and targets against eachother, and used the Enquirer to release some of the dirt he dug up. I also think he deliberately leaked info to the Enquirer for his clients or the attorneys he worked for. I am curious to see if there was any pi's or attorneys who might have had a similar relationship with the Enquirer.

Welcome albion.. thanks for joining and sharing.

Rd and albion-

I too have read The Enquirer's articles on Chandra, both the old ones and some of the new ones. Yes, they always have to sensationalize but some of the stories I found to be informative.
