No leads in this case of a missing young woman. Searches have been conducted and are ongoing. Let us hope for the best result. I have just found out about this sad missing student.
Lauren has a large circle of friends and a bf. They have all cooperated with the police to date.

Lauren went missing after leaving a friends place at 4:30am Tues. This suggests some sort of foul play to me as if someone may have picked her up off of the streets. She was barefoot..

More available data to come.

Police, volunteers conducting searches for missing Indiana student

Bloomington, Indiana, police said Tuesday they have had no breaks in the case of a missing Indiana University student last seen early Friday morning walking barefoot only a few blocks from her apartment, but they have not ruled out the possibility of foul play.

"We certainly do suspect there could have been foul play," Lt. Bill Parker of the Bloomington Police Department said at a news conference Tuesday morning, noting that Lauren Spierer, 20, seemed to have disappeared off a street corner at 4:30 in the morning with no shoes.

Both police and volunteers are conducting searches, combining to cover a broad area in hopes of finding her.

According to Parker, Spierer had gone out with friends to Kilroy's Sports Bar in Bloomington on the night of June 2. Police have video footage that confirms she was at the bar, but she and a friend went back to her apartment building around 2:30 a.m. on June 3. They went inside but did not enter her apartment, and then walked to a building where some other friends lived at 11th and Morton streets.

Around 4:30 a.m., Spierer said she was ready to go home. A friend saw her walk toward the intersection of 11th Street and College Avenue, but police say surveillance cameras at her building do not show her arriving. She has not been seen since.

Police executed a search warrant Tuesday of missing Indiana University student Lauren Spierer's apartment building, seizing hard drives and computer disks.

Police are searching Lauren's apartment complex today.
To date, nobody is a suspect and no leads.
Police feel there is foul play involved.

Let us pray we find Lauren soon.

Please click on the link for the timeline for the night that Lauren went missing.

From what I saw, the male she was with was in a fight but she wasn't.

The guy "can't remember" what happened.

Well, at least he isn't going to try to lie and just go straight to silent ex. Not sure how much of an ex he was but sounds like there was enough disagreement to be one.

Police are searching Lauren's vehicle and looking for the driver's of two cars that were in the area. The driver's are not suspects but police would like to question them. Lauren has been gone too long and I do not put much stock in her safe return.
Prayers to her family and friends.

I forgot to mention, Lauren has a heart condition and needs her medication.

Making the length of her disappearance more critical is the fact that Spierer must take daily medication for a serious heart condition known as Long QT Syndrome.

Ten people have been questioned as persons of interest, DNA samples have been collected from friends, lakes and woods have been searched, but authorities have few clues and no suspects in the case of an Indiana University student missing since June 3. Police believe foul play is involved in the disappearance of 20-year-old Lauren Spierer.
Spierer disappeared after partying at a sports bar with friends. She was last seen walking barefoot and alone toward her Bloomington apartment.

Volunteers turn out to find clues in Indiana student's disappearance
By Moni Basu,
CNN

Snip
The volunteers were told to wear long pants and sturdy shoes, to bring a driver's license so they could prove they were not minors. They were asked to check in and then placed in groups of four or five, maybe more.

And they were given the details of the last sighting of Lauren Spierer. She is only 4 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 95 pounds. She has blond hair and blue eyes and was wearing black leggings and a white top when she last went out with her friends more than three weeks ago.

The volunteers streamed in starting at 7:30 in the morning, determined to search for clues that might help police find her.

A decomposed body was found Monday and LE will do an autopsy to determine if it is missing student Laura.

How very sad.

Now the waiting starts.
