I think most of us heard this story from the news by now.

The guy Raymond Clark is the person of interest / suspect. His girlfriend is "Jennifer Hromadka".

Raymond Clark last logged into MySpace today. Jennifer's FaceBook is mysteriously missing, but the CACHE still exists on Google. Looks like they both left for good, and now I think the chase will be on.

Thanks for the story Z3r0Eff3ct. It is very sad and where they found her was horrid.

I will try to gather more information on the case when I am able to and come upon it.

May she rest in peace.
What a beautiful girl.

Good eve all.

Persons of Interest Named in Yale Murder
Tuesday, September 15, 2009
FOXNews.com's Michelle Maskaly and The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Snip

Connecticut police searched the apartment of a Yale University animal research technician, who was named late Tuesday night as a person of interest in the murder of a 24-year-old graduate student.

The man, Raymond Clark, also was taken into custody by police temporarily Tuesday night to collect DNA evidence.

Police found 24-year-old Annie Le's body about 5 p.m. Sunday, the day she was to marry a Columbia University graduate student.

They stressed there has been no arrest in the murder investigation and they are continuing to gather evidence and interview people to make sure there are no other potential suspects.

The New York Post reported that it had spoken to a person close to Clark's family who confirmed that he had failed a FBI-administered polygraph test and had scratches on his chest — two key points that law-enforcement sources have made about one person they are looking at. But the Post's source dismissed both details as incorrectly casting suspicion Clark.

Thanks for update. Here is what other source says:

Quote:
No charges were filed against 24-year-old Raymond Clark III in Middletown, Connecticut, but police took him into custody while searching for DNA and other physical evidence.

Police said Clark will be released when they have obtained evidence they need from him and his Middletown apartment.

Clark was escorted out of the apartment building in Middletown and into a silver car. Neighbours leaned over the apartment building's iron railings and cheered as police led him away.

Neighbors cheered, little did they know he will be back.

Question, is there really a way now for him to run away? Is that even possible? I am guessing police / undercover will be patrolling around his apartment when he is released 24/7 without taking an eye off him.

It would be hard to imagine he wouldn't run away after giving evidence. He must know by now that they have him.

He also took his wedding website content offline according to an article. The wedding that was mentioned in the post above by rd is about him and his girlfriend's wedding. They had a site for it. It is supposed to be in about 800 days:

This is a very scary person. Someone rumored that autopsy revealed that he killed her by asphyxiacian.

He sounds like a scary person. And the poor neighbors, guess they thought he would be gone. Good evidence takes awhile to gather.

We should keep our eyes on this story.

Good job.

This guy looks so innocent- (pic on link) and gives no indication in his life he would do anything like this. Wonder what the motive was?

NEW HAVEN, Connecticut (CNN) -- A DNA match linking Raymond J. Clark III to Yale student Annie Le led to his arrest on murder charges, a source with knowledge of the investigation said.

Raymond J. Clark III, 24, was arrested and charged with murder. His bail was set at $3 million.

On Thursday, New Haven Police Chief James Lewis described Le's killing an instance of "workplace violence," but he did not elaborate.

Clark, 24, has been charged with Le's murder, and bail has been set at $3 million, Lewis said.

Thursday morning, police arrested the Yale lab technician in the strangulation of Le, whose body was found in the wall of an off-campus research building.

Hours after his arrest, Clark appeared in court and did not enter a plea. Standing with chains on his ankles and his palms on the table, he looked only at the judge and spoke only to acknowledge that his rights were read to him.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Defending a Yale University lab technician charged with murder against what appears to be a mountain of forensic evidence might mean trying to convince jurors that the crime scene was contaminated because police didn't immediately shut down the lab where the victim was found, legal experts said.

Raymond Clark III is charged with murder for the death of Yale graduate student Annie Le. Le vanished from a research building in Yale's medical school complex on Sept. 8; her body was found hidden in a wall recess five days later, on what was to be her wedding day.

Police charged Clark after reviewing some 300 pieces of evidence, including DNA samples taken from him a day before he was arrested. Clark's bond was set at $3 million, and he did not enter a plea.

The evidence is so overwhelming that police believe they don't necessarily have to uncover Clark's motive for the killing to convince jurors of his guilt, according to a law enforcement official who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing.

Let us pray they have enough evidence to convict this guy to the fullest extent. I am really hoping he did not kill her over LAB MICE. There appears to be no motive yet but he was not happy about the way she handled the "MICE".......

Detectives in the stunning broad-daylight murder of Yale grad student Annie Le may have found new evidence in the university lab building where her body was stuffed behind a wall.

New Haven Police Officer Joseph Avery said investigators returned to the facility Wednesday to examine what could be new clues in the killing. He declined to elaborate further. Authorities say they don't expect to make any more arrests.

It was the same day 24-year-old Le, who was studying for her doctorate in pharmacology, was remembered in a memorial service. Her funeral is Saturday in California.

Reports surfaced last week that Clark may have been angry with Le about the way she handled the lab mice, citing e-mails exchanged between the two in which he criticized her for failing to follow the rules.

Police say they don't know the motive for her murder.
