Looks like another silent ex getting rid of a pregnant woman when she's nine months pregnant. Laci Peterson (see Woman missing in Modesto), Jesse Marie Davis (see North Canton, OH nine months pregnant mom disappears), Maria Lauterbach (see 20 year old pregnant marine Maria Lauterbach disappears), Amanda Jones (see Missing Pregnant Woman- Amanda Jones), Lisa Underwood (see 7 month pregnant woman disappears; ex-boyfriend charged), and LaToyia Figueroa (see LaToyia Figueroa, missing Philly pregnant woman, found dead) are prominent cases here on www.justiceforchandra.com , and that's just the cases we're aware of.

This missing woman, Tierra Adams, is a harder case to deal with because according to the silent ex, she's been in and out of jail and he is even saying that she got of his car when he was trying to take her home to her mother. So he claims to have just left her there on the side of a road in the middle of the night.

Sorry folks, we've heard all different variations on that little story already. Silent ex's get that story out about the hysterically suicidal woman, according to them, who disappears, and then they go silent.

Yep, we've heard it all before.

Community Activist Resumes Search For Missing Pregnant Woman
Click2Houston.com
February 13, 2008

(snip)

Texas EquuSearch officials called off their search until police have new information in the case of 25-year-old Tierra Adams, who was last seen Jan. 29. Volunteers have searched part of northwest Harris County for the past week.

Adams has been missing since her alleged boyfriend dropped her off on the side of North Houston Rosslyn Road near state Highway 249 at about 1 a.m.

Community activist Quanell X has asked for volunteers to meet at the Church at Willow Place in the 12600 block of North Houston Rosslyn Road at 3 p.m. to help search for Adams and distribute fliers.

A baby shower and vigil scheduled for Thursday has been canceled.

Adams' mother, Rose Adams-Itive, said Neriah Roberts, Adams' alleged boyfriend, told her the two got into an argument after he caught Adams smoking.

"There's some reasons for me to believe that she's deeply in danger if not harmed already," Texas EquuSearch coordinator Frank Black said last week.

Roberts has denied being Adams' boyfriend and said he does not know if he is the father of her child. He said he caught Adams smoking drugs at his house.

He claimed Adams said she did not want to go home to her parents because she would get in trouble. Roberts said he dropped Adams off when she put up a fight.

"Just the time she's been around me, she left jail, in and out, three times," Roberts said. "This last time she was in for eight months. I've been doing my best to help her with her drug problems. She can't stay at my house with her drug habits."

Police have interviewed Roberts, but they are not calling him a suspect.

Adams is black, 5 feet 6 inches and about 200 pounds. She was last seen wearing white Capri pants and a black-and-white shirt.

Anyone who has seen Adams or would like to volunteer with Texas EquuSearch was asked to call 281-309-9500.

Yes, we have heard it all before, the same old song and dance my friend. Different verisons but the same sad outcome and always leading back to the silent ex.

Very sad indeed.

And, of course the ex sounds like a real sweetheart, so helpful...

We can hope they find this poor woman soon. Doubt it is going to happen though, not that I'm jaded, just these outcomes seem to be this way usually.

They're being fair about it, looking at everyone, and then they nail the silent ex.

The "we had an argument and she got out of the car in the middle of nowhere while I was tryingt o take her home to her mother's" silent ex.

Imagine. He can't be found though.

Who would have thunk it.

Man these guys lie and murder with no conscience whatsoever.

Silent ex's. They're not going to get away with it anymore.

This is excellent reporting and writing from ABC's Andy Cerota.

Body of missing pregnant woman found

Huntsville, Texas

A missing pregnant woman's body has been found and now investigators want to talk to the woman's boyfriend. Tierra Adam's body was found in a shallow grave in Walker County, just north of Huntsville.

Investigators are waiting on dental records so they can positively identify the body. It took them 19 hours to process that shallow grave as a crime scene. They had help from the Texas Rangers and the FBI. They've narrowed the pool of potential suspects to three, including Adams' boyfriend Neriah Roberts, but he is nowhere to be found.

Three tenths of a mile down a country road north of Huntsville, in what can only be described as the middle of nowhere, lies a shallow grave. While it's empty now, Walker County Sheriff's investigators say it contained the remains of Tierra Adams, 25, and her unborn child.

It's a manhunt now. They're looking for the silent ex. He's charged with murder.

He ought to get extra time for making up such a cockamamy story.

That is if he doesn't get the death sentence for making yet another woman disappear, a woman within days of giving birth to his child.

Boyfriend Charged In Pregnant Woman's Death
Click2Houston.com
April 2, 2008

HOUSTON -- Murder charges were filed against the boyfriend of a pregnant woman whose body was found after she was missing for months, officials told KPRC Local 2 Wednesday.

Walker County investigators said a manhunt is under way for Neriah Roberts, 28, who is considered the only suspect in the disappearance and death of Tierra Adams, 25.

"Evidence obtained up to this point has assisted law enforcement in placing Neriah Roberts at the burial site located in the northern portion of Walker County. On Friday, March 29, a search warrant was also executed at an undisclosed location in northwest Houston, which has also assisted in establishing probable cause to obtain an arrest warrant for Roberts," said Walker County Sheriff Clint McRae.

Adams was missing for two months when someone driving by spotted her partially covered body in a shallow grave about a quarter-mile east of Interstate 45 on Pinedale Road on Wednesday, nearly 80 miles from where she was last seen alive.
