As discussed on another recent thread, this just keeps happening. Now we have another boyfriend who kills his pregnant girlfriend after he brings her roses. What is this world coming too? We do have to solve this problem somehow, someway, as it appears the murder rate is rising.
His sister of course blames society stating "he was driven over the edge by family court!" The blame belongs on the boyfriend who is responsible as we all know for killing this woman instead of finding a reasonable solution to the problem with the court system.
The nerve of this slime to bring her flowers with the intent to kill her. How horrid. Throw away the key on him. He pleads innocent after he phoned police and told them that he Killed Her right after the murder!!
This is a growing trend that is out of control.

Police: Boyfriend Gives Roses, Kills Woman
Suspect Pleads Not Guilty
POSTED: 9:17 am EDT June 15, 2007
SAN DIEGO -- A man has pleaded not guilty, after police said he showed up at his pregnant girlfriend's job with a bouquet of roses, then shot her to death.
Roger McDowell is held on $2 million bail.
Authorities in San Diego said McDowell shot his girlfriend, Dawna Wright, three times in the head Tuesday at the medical office where she worked. A doctor was wounded in the leg.
About an hour later, McDowell was arrested after allegedly calling police and telling them he had killed Wright.
The couple had an 8-year-old daughter together. McDowell's sister said he represents "another person driven over the edge" by family court. She said a judge refused to realize her brother's right to be a parent. |

Yes, he executed the mother of his children in cold blood. It's a form of suicide, but he gets years of attention and revenge before he is executed, if ever.
But the divorce/custody system totally needs reworked. It's got a built in "fault" basis, with someone, usually the mother, walking away with children and home, and father often walking away with most of the future earnings potential.
So a fight ensues to try grab some of that from each other, and it's not a civilized fight.
It's as much of a facade of civilized as presenting roses to a woman you loved before you execute her.
