Interesting. I saw the tv listing for 48 Hours where it said a friend helped unravle the mystery of a missing college freshman, but didn't think it was anyone we had covered. My goodness, Taylor Behl?

It must be one of the friends from the diner where she hung out with friends. I'll check it out tonight. Thanks for the heads up, goz.

I will link in Taylor Behl's thread here for future reference:

The 48 Hours Mystery was pretty well done. I didn't realize that he buried her on the family land of Taylor's friend and his ex-girlfriend. I thought it was his family's land.

I have to think that his intent was for blame to be placed on her friend, like she was jealous or something. The irony is that he had a picture of the land with a barn on it that she recognized from when she had taken him there when they were dating.

When the police showed her the picture, she took the police there instead.

RD,
I do remember the picture and that it was a friend's property and she went to the police about it. It is what helped solve the case.

Also, I taped the episode and just watched it. I must agree with you, it was pretty accurate.

Ben is such a creep. Before they got to the end, I knew the story he was trying to sell about a sex scene was false like everything about this con artist. It must have been really upsetting for Taylor's family to have had to listen to this bull. I know it was irritating me while I was watching him being interviewed. What really got to me the most was the plea deal.

I do not think they should have dropped the porn charges against him. I know it would not have mattered in regard to how much time he will be serving, but it is just the principle involved. What was on his computer was just unbelievable. I remember some of what we discussed while the case was current, but to be reminded again that there were pictures of children as young as three being raped is just disgusting. I would have charged him anyway. He is one sick, filthy puppy even though he claims it was not his porno. Yea, right!

Glad I got the notice the show was going to air, but by the description, I would have never thought it was about Taylor.

My thoughts go out to Taylor's family and friends.

Good day all
