Jogger Attacked In Rock Creek Park
Victim's Screams Scare Off Attacker
August 15, 2005

WASHINGTON -- A man attacked a jogger in Rock Creek Park Monday.

It happened on Beach Drive between Connecticut Avenue and Kensington Parkway at about 7:30 a.m.

A woman told police she heard footsteps behind her while she was jogging. A man then grabbed her, put her in a chokehold and tried to drag her into the woods.

The attacker ran away when the victim started screaming.

People who live in the area say they're worried that there could be another attack.

Thanks for that info, mm. Glad this lady was able to scare him off and that she is ok!

This is obviously of special interest to us here. Jogging in "Rock Creek Park" is such a vague statement, used by a certain lawyer named Geragos to blur where Chandra was found on a horse trail up the side of a mountain from the jogging trail along Beach Drive where this attack took place as well as the attacks by Guandique.

I as well as others here such as fallout and I'm sure all the DC locals have walked that nice paved jogging/biking trail that runs along Rock Creek as it winds along Beach Drive. It is heavily populated by walkers and joggers and is flat.

At Broad Branch you can leave the jogging trail and start up the road, passing a winding uphill entrance to the Nature Center at the top of the mountain. Up the side of that mountain, deep in the woods, runs a horse trail.

Yes, Condit and Geragos, the horse trail is in Rock Creek Park. No, it is not a jogging path on the way to Klingle Mansion. Just another lie from Geragos. He's been found out now by the public in Laci's murder, so his help in lying for Condit is questionable anymore at best.

Since the traffic is so heavy along Beach Drive it would seem to be pretty safe for joggers, but as Guandique's victiims testified, the traffic drowns out your screams as some deviant tries to drag you off the trail choking you.

A quick death is too good for people like that. The woman got away, but hopefully this worthless excuse for a human being won't.

I call again for all violent felons on probation to have their movements recorded by a GPS device they must wear. Please see my thread Track offenders with GPS Recorders! to see the economic payoff from taking control of our security from these human predators.
