I read on the capitolgrilling website that Condit was on the board of Klingle Mansion. Has anyone here ever seen anything about that? I had read it a long time ago but forgot about it.

Never have heard that before, blondie. Does the poster realize Klingle Mansion is a national park office? :)

I don't know, but thought it sounded strange.

Blondie, I don't recall about Condit on the board of the Klingle Mansion but I do recall the there was a map- back in 2001- that detailed the maintenance of the park and I recall that reports were given to Congress. I wish I could find that info. It's most likely on my computer that crashed.

That would be useful information.

That's interesting. Maybe he did some congressional stuff on it or something.

In any event, I was amazed to see on a map that the end of his street, Adams Morgan, ran into Klingle Road and on to Klingle Mansion.

Again, as with picnic area 18, it's the most logical place to be able to drive up and park if one were to want to be in the area for some reason.

Blondie I do not recall having ever read that Condit was on any board or had anything to do with the Park's mansion.

rd: I remember being stund when I realized that Adams Morgan road lead right down to the park and the mansion? Life if full of ironies, I imagined that one could almost see the mansion from Condit's house, this is not true having seen Condit's house he does not look like he has a view of too much, although it is hard to tell what he could see out of his third storey window. Weird though!
