In another thread I posted my response to that New York Daily News reporter. Basically I told her I missed good reporting from Helen Kennedy on Chandra's case.
As to guidelines to communicating with Guandique, nothing lurid is allowed. I don't think there'll be a problem with what you send, I'm sure. :)
Other than not be able to discuss Susan Levy's sentencing remarks verbatim, Big Brother should be able to deal with anything else. Hard to tell with those types though. Possibly have stopped taking notes trying to entrap Guandique now that their previous efforts in DC kangaroo court have been successful. Temporarily at least.

That's a sly little trick Condit has to divert attention away from him to the silly. Everyone knows he had multiple mistresses, but he claims it's all a misunderstanding from overeager reporters confusing his daughter with his mistress.
Although there is some confusion in that confusion.

Nothing lurid? I'll have to think of another angle - just kidding! _________________ "There is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known."

I don't know anything about the rules, regarding prison letters. However, I did want to mention that my potential witness friend called Judge Fisher (and others) and left him a message, prior to Ingmar's sentencing, regarding the fact that important discovery documents were apparently not turned over to the defense and potential witnesses from the original investigation were not reinterviewed. Judge Fisher's secretary returned my friend's call the following day (after the sentencing, I believe) and left a message saying that "the judge could only speak with my friend in the presence of counsel representing both the government and the defense." She went on to say that "the judge would pass my friend's information on to counsel for both sides and it would be up to them to contact my friend.". |

Jane, I hope you do send a letter. I did communicate with a prisoner once, I won't name names,,, but I never received a note back. It probably never got to him since I brought up the murder and asked questions as to why he would throw his life away. He was a football player but not Mr. OJ.

Hi Rainbow, Goz, rd - The problem with writing, I think, is that the communication between male prisoners and females tends to get romanticized, doesn't it? Even the government narc who wrote to Ingmar had to remind him she was old enough to be his mom. _________________ "There is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known."

yeah, but she was a government employee. I still say that she was used to entrap Guandique, and when they couldn't entrap him she "lost" his letters and they used her to convict him anyway.
All he ever did was say he was in big trouble over some dead girl. First he was honest with her. Second he *was* in big trouble with DC goons springing traps on him over some dead girl. And third the jury were too ignorant to know the difference.
Write it as from the site. That'll make it impersonal enough that Big Brother won't kick your door in.
Well hopefully.

Jane, I agree w/ Rd. Write it as from the site. I think that way will keep it on an impersonal level.. I guess if I was a con, I would take any note from a women (Probably) and well, you know..
Good luck.
