In answer to the question about whether the prosecution knows about the opinions expressed by the D.C. homicide detective at the time, police, FBI, Levy investigators, and Levy attorneys all received updates about any information the potential witness had through the years.

The potential witness also received the impression from one of the Levy investigators that the witness was in telephone contact with during the same period of time, that the Levy investigators supported the same theory as the D.C. homicide detective, with regard to the circumstances surrounding the murder of Chandra Levy.

The potential witness I mention had lengthy calls with Dwayne Stanton throughout the years.

Rd, do you have any knowledge about whether they changed their opinions on what happened?

Does anyone have any opinions on how the FBI has handled this case?

I know the FBI extensively 'questioned' the minister Otis Thomas until he 'admitted' he made up the story about his daughter and Condit.

Great memory, Jane! The whole public course of the investigation seemed to change after that.

No, Rainbow, I've not been in contact with anyone over the years except some incidental communications with Fran Iseman, Chandra's godmother, who couldn't really add anything to what we knew.

But I've read everything Stanton and McCann had to say through the years, and they left no doubt they looked for information harder than the DC police and FBI did, and that they understood where that information led.

My main concern is that the DC police will file this back as far as they can bury it which is what they always wanted to do, and the great points made by the defense lawyers Sonenberg and Hawila of what should have been investigated will get buried with it.

Thanks Rd and Jane!

For a while there, the Levy family's attorney, Steve Mandel, I believe, employed Tony Daniels of MDB International, as an investigator. Mr. Daniels is the "D" in MDB International, an international security company. If I recall, correctly, he was a former field office head of the D.C. F.B.I. office.

I thought that he would have been able to make some headway into this case, on behalf of the Levys.

It looks like Mr. and Mrs. Levy took all of the right steps. If the truth doesn't come out now, I believe it will some day.

That would be a very worthy outcome of this trial. A lot of new information was revealed by the DC police and prosecutors in an attempt to prove the DC police as incompetent (as if anyone were challenging that concept).

If anything, the new information makes the disturbing questions surrounding Chandra's disappearance even more disturbing.

Very well put, Rd.

As we wait for the verdict, I would like to make mention of people who have played an important role in this case, who have also done an excellent job in looking for the truth, and who are exceptional human beings:

The Levy Family
Anne-Marie Smith and Jim Robinson
Billy Martin
Dwayne Stanton and Joseph McCann
Detective Lawrence Kennedy
Steve Mandel
Tony Daniels
Santha Sonnenberg and Maria Hawilo

Hi Rd!
He is the "D" in MBD International, an international security company. I believe he was a former head (or something similar) of the Washington D.C. field office of the FBI. Mr. Mandel's law firm employed him as a private investigator, or something similar, when Mr. Mandel was representing the Levy family.

The following is a bio I found on spoke.com.

You are right, with regard to the list I posted. It would be great, if somebody else on the list would come forward and offer help, if they have information that would exonerate Mr. Guandique.
