Let us keep a look out of this child. He has been gone a few days which is not good but maybe there is a chance he wandered off or was taken and can be returned.

Investigators still can't say for sure whether 7-year old Kyron Horman was kidnapped or simply wandered away Friday morning, just 150 feet from his second grade classroom at Skyline Elementary School in Portland, Oregon. But five days later, there is still no trace of the bespectacled boy.

Police are trying to interview every single person who was there-- it was a busy day because a science fair was going on, and school officials say visitors who would normally have had to obtain badges from the main office were too numerous for the policy to be enforced.

More on this story as I gather information and contacts.

Just heard on the news there is no Amber Alert issued as there is no proof of an abduction. This seems unreal as there should be one anyway considering the child's age.

"What I can tell you is that we have no reason to believe that this is anything other than an isolated case," Gates said.

Kyron was reported missing by his stepmother Friday afternoon after he did not return home from school, authorities said.

According to investigators, Kyron's stepmother said she last saw him Friday morning walking down a hallway towards his second-grade classroom at Skyline Elementary School.

The FBI is now involved with the case. Day 6 and still no word. The FBI still think he may be in the area. Let us all pray this is so.

The FBI has released this new photograph showing the little boy in a funny hat as part of a smart strategy to keep his face, and the on-going search for him, in the media spotlight. Investigators say they’re focusing on specific areas in the city of Portland, though they're not saying where or why, and they're making a point of not calling this a criminal investigation, because there's still no evidence to indicate a crime has been committed. A former FBI profiler tells me all of this suggests investigators have reason to believe Kyron is still in the area, and they’re working to eliminate the local leads before widening their search. Some criminal experts following the case speculate the cops may have someone under surveillance.

The search is still focused on the woodsy, half-mile radius around Skyline Elementary School, where Kyron was last seen Friday morning.

Let us find this young boy. My heart is breaking for this kid. I am hoping he is just still lost. I know that is doubtful but I'm so tired of these situations ending badly.

CNN) -- The parents of a missing Oregon boy have urged the public to continue helping authorities find their son.

"Please search your properties, your cars, your outbuildings, your sheds," the immediate family of Kyron Horman said in a statement Wednesday that was read by Captain Mike Shults of the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office. "Also check with your neighbors and friends who may be on vacation or may need assistance to search their property.

"There are a lot of resources out there to help. Please don't stop.

"Kyron's family would like to thank everyone for their support and interest in finding their son," the statement added. "The outpouring of support and continued effort strengthens their hope."

Searches are still going on looking for this young child. I do not know why LE has not called this an abduction yet. This is the 9th day of the searches and they have been expanded to rural areas.

LE is cutting back on searches. This is now a criminal investigation.

A 25,000.00 reward is being offered for information. Let's pray we find this child. The outlook is not good.

After 10 days of extensive searching and following up on hundreds of tips, the case of a missing Oregon boy has been classified as a possible crime, authorities announced Sunday.

"With the search-and-rescue mission completed at this time, we are moving operations toward the criminal investigative end of the spectrum," Capt. Monte Reiser of the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office said at a briefing. "While we still are keeping all options open, it is a natural progression to move the overall focus to a criminal case."

Sadly, there is nothing new to report. I am not taking the thought of this boy missing well.

Billboards are up and I read AMW may do a segment on him.

Let us find him soon. We are not looking at good news here.

Detectives investigating the disappearance of a 7-year-old Oregon boy two weeks ago put out a call Friday for information on the whereabouts that day of his stepmother — the last person to see him alive.

Investigators refuse to say whether they have a suspect. Police passed out fliers Friday in hopes of jogging the memory of anybody who might have information on Kyron Horman's case, said Capt. Jason Gates of the Multnomah County sheriff's department.

A questionnaire that accompanies the flier has gone to everybody who was at Skyline School on June 4, he said. The boy was last seen there after a science fair he attended that morning with his stepmother, Terri Moulton Horman.

"Terri is the last known person to have seen Kyron alive before he disappeared," Gates said.

The stepmother, who has raised Kyron since he was an infant, contacted the school on the afternoon of the disappearance, when the boy didn't come home on his school bus. Kyron lived with his father and stepmother about 2 miles from the school.

Capt. Jason Gates issued the following statement Friday on the decision to request information on Kyron's stepmother:

"Detectives work in this case is exhaustive and they, along with Kyron's family, are asking for the community's assistance regarding anyone who saw not only Kyron, but also who may have seen Terri Horman and/or the truck she was driving that morning. Terri is the last person known to have seen him before he disappeared."

In a brief phone interview with CNN, sheriff spokeswoman Lt. Mary Lindstrand said the focus of the investigation is not on Terri Horman.

"We're looking for every bit of information that we can," Lindstrand said. "We are not in a position to name anybody a person of interest."

Days have now turned to weeks in the search for a missing Portland, Ore., second-grader. Authorities in Multnomah County say the last reported sighting of Kyron Horman was him walking down the hall of Skyline Elementary School on June 4, 2010. Now, police are calling the case a criminal investigation.

Kyron and his stepmother, Terri Moulton Horman, had come to school that morning to attend a science fair. Around 8:45 a.m., Kyron left his stepmom and headed to class. But police say the second-grader never made it.

When Kyron didn't show up at his school bus stop later that afternoon, his parents called the school -- Kyron was nowhere to be found.

Over the course of the next few days, air units, canine search teams and multiple local law enforcement agencies -- including Portland's FBI bureau -- joined the search for Kyron. The area between Kyron's home and his school was canvassed, in addition to 20 miles of road.

On June 6, 2010, Multnomah County investigators interviewed 200 children and family members from Skyline Elementary. In they days to follow, police interviewed all of Skyline's students in hopes of figuring out what happened to Kyron.

Kyron was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with the letters "CSI" in green and a handprint graphic on it, black cargo pants, white socks, and black Skechers sneakers with orange trim. He wears metal framed glasses.

On June 11, 2010, Kyron's family stood at a Portland press conference to plead for the second-grader's safe return for the first time since he vanished. Kyron's stepdad, Tony Young, spoke first, saying "we miss you, we love you...we need you home right now. Until you come home, our family is not complete." Minutes later, Kyron's dad, Kaine Horman, thanked searchers, the media, and law enforcement -- "we will never be able to thank you enough. Please help us bring Kyron home."

On June 14, 2010, Multnomah authorities began calling the case a criminal investigation based on the amount of time that had passed with no sign of Kyron.

Search teams and divers have been looking around Sauvie Island -- an area roughly 15 miles from Kyron's school -- since June 11, 2010. While the majority of search and rescue personnel have been scaled back, there continues to be SAR teams in a few areas, including the lakes and ponds around Kyron's home.

If you have any information about the whereabouts of Kyron Horman, please call our Hotline at 1-800-CRIME-TV.

No news to report. LE is looking for any leads now and looking at the stepmom's trail as she dropped the boy off at school but she is not being called a POI.

Hoping we have some leads or answers soon. He did not vanish into thin air while a science fair was going on.

Things seem to be going badly in the household. It seems the husband may no longer believe his wife has nothing to do with the child missing.

PORTLAND, Ore. -- The father of missing Portland boy Kyron Horman has filed for divorce and taken out a restraining order against his wife Terrie Horman, a source told KGW Monday night.

A source told KGW Monday night that Kaine Horman had moved out of the home with his 18-month-old child. Early Monday, Terrie Horman denied to KGW that Kaine had moved out.

Family members released a statement Monday saying they were in support of the investigation.

The statement read in part: "Any actions taken by the investigation, or by us, are based on the best interests of Kyron and Kiara and comply with the law. Beyond this, we have no comment on the matter."

Kyron Horman's photo was on the cover of 'People' for the second week in a row and the story that goes with it focuses on the attention that has been placed on his step-mother Terri Moulton-Horman.

Since Kyron vanished three weeks ago, she has been singled out in a questionnaire sent to parents and staff of Skyline school. A lifelong friend described Terri Moulton-Horman's unhappiness with a second polygraph test.

Moulton's father, Larry Moulton, 72, told 'People' matter-of-factly that "the finger points at stepmom, she's trying to be cooperative."

He too said she has had two polygraphs, that police have taken her truck twice and questioned her several times, for up to six hours, several times. He also described his daughter as "really good with kids" and pointed to a Halloween outing to pumpkin patches with the family in costume.

Authorities believe a missing 7-year-old Oregon boy is still alive, and said the search for him is progressing faster than most searches of its kind.

Multnomah County Sheriff Dan Staton said Friday that the investigation has been "scaled down" since it began on June 4, but 20 investigators are still working to find Kyron Horman.

"We have no evidence that indicates that anything other than the fact that Kyron (Horman) is still alive and we are going to continue the investigation under that premise," Staton said.
