Rachel Good Gone for One Year
Laura Speakman
Last year this was her father's plea:
"Rachel baby, if you're out there, if you're running, if you're scared call daddy, daddy'll come and get you and I love you," said Cary Good, Rachel's father.
And one year later:
"I live this 24 hours a day. I think about it when I’m mowing my yard. I think about it when I’m at Wal-Mart. It's not a real easy thing and I wouldn't wish anyone to go through it," said Good.
Rachel Good went missing October 18, 2004. She was pregnant when she disappeared. By the end of that month, State Police took over the search. Then a relationship between Good and Elkton police officer Adam Williams was revealed. In January of 2004, he resigned from the police force. And in August the announcement was made.
"Rachel is gone and we have to move on and seek justice for her," said Marsha Garst, Commonwealth Attorney.
The case moved from a missing person to a homicide. Now family and friends are waiting to see the results of the grand jury testimonies. Good says this whole situation makes him look at life differently
"It's really made me think, hey live for today because tomorrow may never come," said Good.
Garst says, "The grand jury hearing is ongoing." Testimonies were to end Monday; however she will not release any details. Good says he's assured this case will come to head before January first. _________________ Maryland's Missing persons

It's encouraging that a grand jury will investigate in Rachel Good's case, mm. I would like to see something positive come out of this and then ask once again why the grand jury stopped looking into Chandra Levy's case.
