I've been reading all the posts on this thread and this might seem really stupid, but what if she had the check on her when she was killed and it just simply blew away in the struggle? Being paper, it eventually just disintegrated in the elements.

I had a $25 check from an aunt about a year or so ago, and I put it in a coat pocket in the closet.

Somehow the check got misplaced, and I don't know what happened to it. I just forgot about it, I did not try to get the check replaced.

Isn't it MrRich who says that the easiest answer is the best? Maybe Chandra's check got lost in the park, or wherever Chandra went after she left her apartment.

That is a good point, Leigh, because we are not sure where Chandra was murdered, and where the check might have been lost. In April of 2002 Geragos predicted that Chandra's body would be found soon, in the park.

Is Geragos' prediction in your book rd?

Yes, it is. I end the chapter Grand Jury by saying whatever the reason for his prediction that Chandra would be found in May, it came true.

OMGosh, I had forgotten about Geragos' prediction. Makes me wonder if his client had not maybe confessed something to him?

Yes this is possible Leigh that she lost the cheque, she may have carried this around for good luck, it was suppose to represent luck. Makes good sense that she simply carried it around, or that it got lost in birthday wrappings. Chandra looks like she had quite a complusion to throw things away. She lived very spartanly, portable, she was not a collector. It is possible the check went in the garbage, I have done this many times when throwing aware wrapping paper. There are some not so nice scenarios of what might have happened to the cheque and we won't go there.

It is not known where chandra was killed, and chilling the remark of Condit's lawyer. The irony too of the Enquirer coming out with the story about the mansion just before Chandra was found, and of course presto Chandra shows up in May,like Gregaros says, like please who is your mind reader. The coincidence of the story about the mansion seems like this might have been ocrhestrated.

The dogs tracked Chandra to the curb and this is as far as she wrote. Chandra gets into a vehilce infront of her apt. Big question did she go there willingly. Why at a time when Condit has no alibi is it that Chandra was last heard of, Chandra simply vanishes and goes missing. Picking Chandra up at the crib would have been about right from the time chandra logged off to go downstairs and meet Gar for Lunch in a car say at 1:30, plenty of time until 5p.m.

That is allot of time, a whole lot of things might have happen, what we know happened, Chandra has never been seen since logging off that computer actually seen last in person, April 30th at the gym.

the information has sure been kept pretty tight not a word, and hopefully it is not over, Someone knows, there has to be more than a young girl goes missing on a beautiful spring day, to vanish, seems this is a poplular theme to the lastest murders of young women. Vanishing in broad dailight. One wonders why
