I love exploring and extreme stuff.
My favourite place is nature.
I also love animals of all kinds.
I like art, the kind that has music, painting, yoga.
My dream is to be a vet, librarian, singer, carver or nothing.
Seneca Hill is my favourite school.
Pets are popular at my home.
Parents are most important to me.
Sometimes when I get a book I'm interested in I can't do anything but read.
Every culture (especially native) is fun to me.
Mystery stuff is really cool to me.
Fruits are my favourite type of food.
Who am I?
This is a poem by Cecilia Zhang, an adorable 9-year-old Grade 4 gifted
student from North York who was taken from her bedroom by an intruder.
That was in October, 2003. On May 27 her predominantly skeletal
remains were discovered in Mississauga.
It is a very sad case of youthful joy and innocence monstrously snuffed out.
I plan to follow the investigation of the crime scene closely to see whether
it sheds any light on Chandra's case.
Here's a link to a picture of little Cecilia before she disappeared (what an adorable child!)

The case has been covered fairly heavily in the Toronto area. Someone apparently climbed onto a structure adjoining the house (forget what, exactly) to break into a second-storey window sometime in the night and took Cecilia from her bedroom. Her mother discovered she was missing in the morning when she went to get her up for school.
Initially the police thought it was a sexual predator, but when the family received a couple of calls from a payphone shortly after the disappearance, they held out the hope that it might be a kidnapping for ransom. (Nothing was heard in the telephone calls, though - silence).
Among people interviewed at the time were some students boarding across the street from Cecilia's house - I read that they will be interviewed again (sounds like they no longer live there, but I'm not sure). _________________ "There is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known."

With the kids across the street sounds like it has some potential to be similar to Martha Moxley's murder. Another heartbreaking loss.

The police are pretty tight-lipped about the crime scene, but I'll try to glean what I can. _________________ "There is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known."
